A police officer with the Perry Police Department was injured in a shooting early Tuesday morning according to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office. 

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office confirms that a Perry Police Department officer was injured in a shooting early Tuesday morning in Perry. The investigation is still ongoing and more information will be released later today.
