The Jefferson Public Library is kicking off its new author talk series with a local resident.
Rosemarie Olhausen will be discussing her second book, “Still the One: More Life with Roger” Saturday at 10am at the First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson. This book continues to chronicle the life she has shared with her husband Roger, following her initial book that was published in 2011, “My Life with Roger: Celebrating Forty-Plus Years of Laughter, Travel and Sports.”
Rosemarie spent 35 years teaching in the Jefferson-based school system as the health and family consumer science instructor and Roger was a middle school math teacher in Jefferson. The two are retired and live in Jefferson. They have two adult children and five grandchildren.
“Still the One” was published locally by Raspberry Ridge Publishing in Jefferson and is owned by Janice Harbaugh. Copies of the book will be available for purchase during Saturday’s program and Rose will also sign copies of her book. Saturday’s event is free and open to the public.
