Friday, May 6th
12:36pm: Hayley Brown reported a Stray Dog in her yard at 511 North Olive Street. The animal’s owner arrived and took the dog before the officer’s arrival.
12:57pm: A caller reported a young female child, who was naked, walking near her residence near the 200 Block of South West Street. A second caller advised the child arrived at 301 South Georgia Street. The officer took control of the child and eventually located her apartment in the area. A 13-year-old sibling was watching the child, who left the apartment alone. DHS was contacted.
1:35pm: Eric Chrystal reported numerous tools and other items missing from 705 West Sunset, after a female had moved out of the property. The officer is investigating.
1:50pm: A caller requested a Welfare Check on a female at 1000 West Adams Street. Officers made contact with the subject, who advised they were fine.
3:54pm: An officer responded to a Fire Alarm Activation at 401 West Russell Street. It was determined to be a False Alarm.
4:58pm: Kristina Greene spoke to an officer concerning a Civil Child Custody Issue.
6:24pm: Carsten Williams requested an officer at 606 Hwy. 30 East, for an issue during a Civil Child Custody Exchange at the address. The officer spoke to both parties and allowed them to go on their way after the exchange.
8:15pm: An officer assisted a deputy with a single vehicle accident at 245th Street and M Ave.
9:40pm: A Traffic Stop in the 500 Block of East Lincoln Way Street resulted in Harry Jensen of Jefferson being cited for, “Violation of Conditions of Restricted License.”
10:03pm: The Wild Rose Casino advised of a Stray Dog at 777 Wild Rose Lane, attempting to enter the business through the automatic doors. The officer and security staff were unable to capture the animal before it ran away.
Saturday, May 7th
2:09am: A Traffic Stop in the 100 Block of West Washington Street resulted in Maynor Carballo Aguilar of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Have a Valid Driver’s License.”
5:12am: Ryan Baugh reported a stopped train near the Cedar Street RR Crossing, which keeps sounding its horn. The train was leaving the area as the officer arrived.
8:32am: A Traffic Stop at Grimmell and Central resulted in Terri Hill of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
12:25pm: Vickie Williams reported a small dog in her yard at 905 West Lincoln Way Street. The animal’s owner arrived and took possession of the animal.
12:47pm: Susan Smith reported a Stray Dog near Mulberry and 220th Street. The officer did not locate the reported animal.
1:27pm: A Traffic Stop at Olive and Elm Streets resulted in Blake Jans of Perry being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
2:27pm: An officer checked on a male parked in the 100 Block of West Monroe Street. The subject was fine and was on his phone.
4:56pm: A caller advised of a male, dressed in all black, walking in the 800 Block of West State Street. They reported the male was acting impaired. Officer checked the area, but did not locate the reported subject.
7:40pm: Lorrie Lawrence requested an officer in the 600 Block of West Lincoln Way Street for a Civil Child Custody Issue.
7:28pm: Jan Olson spoke with an officer about issues with her neighbor’s children. The officer attempted to mediate the issue between both parties.
7:51pm: Rebecca Blanchard reported a vehicle parked in her driveway at 306 ½ West Washington Street, which does not belong there. The owner arrived shortly after Blanchard called and removed the vehicle.
8:31pm: Dollar General reported a vehicle in their private parking lot at 104 North Locust Street for over 24 hours. The officer contacted the vehicle’s owner, who advised it would be removed Monday morning.
8:29pm: A Traffic Stop near Elm and Lincoln Way Streets resulted in Mason Wampler of Scranton being cited for, “Violation of a Minor’s School Permit.”
Sunday, May 8th
3:43am: An officer located an Open Door at 1108 North Elm Street. The officer secured the business after checking inside.
5:29am: Tammy Tolsdorf reported a known male is threatening to “Shoot up her House,” located at 600 West Lincoln Way Street. Witnesses were not wanting to cooperate with the investigation at this time.
8:31am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 400 Block of Greenewood Road.
1:37pm: A caller advised that a neighbor came to her house at 1200 Riverside and advised he has been stabbed and is bleeding. Officers arrived and spoke to the male, who advised a known subject attacked him with a sword at 705 Sunset Road. The subject gave verbal permission for officer’s to enter his residence and look for the suspect. The subject had injuries and was transported by Ambulance to ER. Officers did not locate the suspect inside the residence, but gathered evidence in the assault. The investigation continues.
1:59pm: A caller was not making sense when calling in to dispatch. Officer’s performed a Welfare Check on the subject in the 1000 Block of West Adams Street. The officers felt the subject was fine, and only wanting a ride across town to a friend’s residence.
4:03pm: Annette Ganoe reported a tank that appears to be leaking at 900 East Hwy. 30. The officer and Fire Chief could not locate a leak, but advised the business owner of the issue.
7:39pm: Brain Mobley reported a Suspicious Vehicle in the 200 Block of North Walnut Street. The officers did not locate the reported vehicle.
7:51pm: Officers searched 307 North Olive Street, after locating the door open on the vacant building. All appeared fine inside.
9:39pm: A Traffic Stop in the 600 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Christina Villebro of Scranton being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
11:18pm: St. Anthony’s Hospital in Carroll requested an officer to conduct a Welfare Check on a male in the 600 Block of West Washington Street. An officer spoke with the subject and reported their findings to St. Anthony’s.
