Fidel Castro, age 47, 2912 Rutland Ave, Des Moines, was arrested for Driving While Barred.

Keneathea Williams, age 24, 6700 SW 9th Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Violated Probation Terms.

May 7

Julia Hoeger, age 34, 2908 120th St, Van Meter, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.

Hannah Ladehoff, age 19, 2833 Eastern Ave, Perry, was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

A juvenile was traveling in the 15000 of Hwy 141 when they lost control of the vehicle and rolled it into the ditch.  The estimated damage to the vehicle was $10000.  The juvenile driver was transported to the hospital to have injuries evaluated.

May 9

Garrett Mleynek, Des Moines, was driving westbound on I80 near the 116 mile marker, when he hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $30000. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
