A non-profit organization is having a fundraiser that includes one of the most famous horse racing events today.

Relay For Life of Guthrie County invites the public to join them to watch the Kentucky Derby at the Owl’s Nest in Panora. There will be several activities many can participate in that include horse race betting, raffles and silent auctions, awards for the best hats and attire, and drink specials will be offered. 

The fundraiser is today from 2-7pm and organizers encourage folks to get a seat as early as possible.
