Greene County High School will host a Class 2A Girls Golf Regional at Jefferson Community Golf Course on Friday, May 13. The Rams will host East Sac County, Kuemper Catholic, MVAOCOU (Maple Valley), OABCIG (Ida Grove), Roland-Story (Story City), South Central Calhoun (Lake City), and Southeast Valley (Gowrie) in Region 3A for an 18 hole event. Qualifiers advance to the Nishna Hills Golf Club in Atlantic for the Region 3 final with Region 3B held at the Shenandoah Golf Course.

This is believed to be the first time in decades the Rams have hosted a girls’ golf Regional Tournament. Greene County Activities Director Todd Gordon told Raccoon Valley Radio he appreciates the cooperation of the City of Jefferson and Jefferson Community Golf Course.
