Lake Panorama National Golf Course

The Panora Chamber of Commerce held their annual golf tournament at Lake Panorama National Golf Course last Sunday, which turned out to be a success.

Organizer Dave Grove says that the participation was a little bit smaller due to the weather but they still had 17 teams for their four person best shot tournament. He says even with the smaller crowd, the event raised over $4,000. Grove explains a majority of the proceeds will benefit Panorama Days. 

“So this is our key fundraiser to raise funds. There’s a few other areas that we raise dollars as well, but this is the key one. So everything from the bands to a lot of the events and kid activities, they all come at a cost. So this can help pay for that and make sure that our Panorama Days is a success and a fun time for everybody.”

This year’s Panorama Days will be August 5-7.
