Dallas Center – Grimes boys and girls track were looking for good results on Tuesday at the Little Hawkeye Conference track and field meet, at the two teams were both able to come away with 4th place finishes in loaded fields.  They were able to find some wins along the way in both the boys and the girls sides.

Carter Boley was able to win the shot put in the conference with a throw of 50-09. The 4×100 meter relay team places first with a time of 44.12 seconds. The runners of that race included Kieran Shawhan, Keaton Jackson, Zach Smid, and Gavin Todd.

The girls 4×800 meter relay was able to win with a time of 10 minutes 10 seconds, with the group being Hannah Little, Tess Meggison, Meredith McDermott, and Skyler Blessmen.

The Mustangs will continue to gear up for districts as they will have more meets coming up in the near future.
