The trend of less than ideal weather conditions continued last night when the Greene County High School girls and boys traveled to Alleman for the North Polk Comet Relays. The meet got started, but was halted and teams sent home after the 4 x 800 meter relays.
The highest finish for the Greene County girls in the few events that were completed was second in the long jump at 13′ 9″ by Kamryn Sanders. The sprint medley was third in 1:59.09 with Alexa Peters, Sanders, Bella Schroeder, and Olivia Shannon.
The 4 x 800 meter relay for boys ran 9:12.38 with Gavyn Winters, Noah Hinote, Nick Stream, and Logan Woodruff, good for third place. Jesse Miller was second in the discus throw at 130′ 4′.
