April 25: Arrest: Sahilyn Marie Hein, age 24, 1117 11th St., West Des Moines, IA was taken into custody and charged with unlawful passing of a school bus 1st offense. Accident: Unit 1 silver 2017 Buick Encore registered to Darwin Siebenahler, 6573 Pleasant Dr., West Des Moines Driven by Kelli Lee Siebehnahler, 6673 Pleasant Dr., West Des Moines. Unit 2 – white 2015 Chrysler registered to Tekle Pshalehaile, 2041 NW 8th St., Grimes, driven by Selam Beyen Andemichael, 2041 NW gth St., Grimes. Unit 1 was traveling northbound on 16th St., After stoppig she proceeded to turn west onto Willis Ave, failing to see unit 2 who was traveling west on Willis. Unit 1 sustained damage to
rand unit 2 sustained damage to the front leit fender, driver’s door, and passenger door. Total estimated damages, $4500. Driver of unit 1 was cited for failure to obey a stop sign. April 26: Received a report of criminal mischief and possible theft I the 1100 block of Willis Ave. Case under investigation. Officers responded to the 1200 block of Bateman on a report of a domestic situation. Verbal dispute only. Officer responded to the 2700 block of Fritz on a report of criminal mischief. Damage to a utility box. Information relayed to cable company, April 27: April 28: Arrest:Ashly Marie Overly, age 28. 12750 Knox Trail, Perry was arrested on a Dallas County Warrant, Perry’s original charge of three counts of burglary 3rd degree. Officers responded to the 3000 block of Willis Ave on a theft report. Case under investigation. April 29: Arrest: Michael Andrew Smith, age 31, 2801 1st Ave., Perry was taken into custody and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Arrest: Maiken Palmieris Marroquin Argueta, age 20, 3600 Tonawanda Drive, Des Moines was taken into custody and charged with operating while intoxicated 1st offense. April 30; Received a report of criminal mischief in the 1300 block of 2nd Street, Graffiti on a building. Under investigation. Marco Francis Roeder, 1507 Willis Ave., Perry, was issued a municipal infraction for dog at large 4th offense and vicious dog 3rd offense. May 1:
Arrest: Jesmar Daniel Montez Martinez, age 21, 1723 Pine, Perry was taken into custody and charged with operating while intoxicated 1st offense.
