Upon the conclusion of the 2022  Drake Relays in Des Moines, Dallas County schools produced multiple champions across the various events.

The Drake Relays took place over the later half of last week and Dallas County schools including Adel-DeSoto-Minburn and Dallas Center-Grimes sent multiple representatives to the Blue Oval and three of the events came away as Drake Relays champions.

For Adel-DeSoto-Minburn the girls 4×100 team made up of Makayla Crannell, Jada Grove, Olivia Tollari and Hallie Henfling came away as Drake Relay champions when they beat out Waukee Northwest for the top spot with a time 48.48.

For Dallas Center-Grimes they also sent multiple athletes to the Drake Relays across multiple events and after the conclusion of the relays Aidan Ramsey came away as the first place finisher in multiple distance events including the 1600m with a time of 4:15.96 and the 3200m with a time of 8:58.27.

For these Dallas County schools their athletes competed against the best the state has to offer at the Drake Relays across all classes and came away with first place finishes.
