Greene County had both its 4 x 100 meter relays run on Saturday morning in the preliminaries of the Drake Relays inside Drake Stadium in Des Moines. The girls were 76th among the 96 quartets that qualified and Olivia Shannon, Katrina Heupel, Natalie Heupel, and Bella Schroeder ran a season best time of 52.40 seconds. They entered the meet with the 86th fastest qualifying time.

The boys were 81st with Camden Strennen, Jackson Morton, Bryce Stalder, and Jesse Miller in 45.37 seconds after qualifying 80th.

A busy stretch of the season continues Monday for the Greene County girls and boys at the North Polk Relays in Alleman, followed by the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference coed meet in Story City on Thursday.
