The Panorama Panthers have representatives up at the Blue Oval for the Drake Relays and there have been good results from the first two days of the relays.
For Panorama on Thursday sophomore Jaidyn Sellers was able to compete in the high jump where she earned an eighth place finish with a good height of 5 feet 4 inches. For Sellers her time continued on Friday when she took part in a bevy of events including the 800m run where she finished fifth overall with a time of 2:14. Sellers then took part in the 100m dash where she was able to get a fourth place finish with a time of 12.81. Sellers then took part in the 400m where she earned a a twelfth place finish with a time of 58.66.
Sellers had a phenomenal showing out at the Drake Relays this year in just her sophomore campaign with Panorama Panthers girls track and field and will look to carry this back into regular track meets as she will look to finish out a strong sophomore campaign where she currently is the top dog in Class 2A in the 100m, 2oom and 400m dashes as well as the 800m run. The 100m and 200m dashes Sellers was a state champion in last year as she will look to repeat this year.
The Panorama Panthers have one more event that will be taking place today with the 4×100 team that is made up of Zoey Hambleton, Payton Beckman, Grace Webner and Jazmyn Sellers as they will look to cap off a successful Drake Relays for the Panorama Panthers in 2022.
