Sophomore Jack Hansen had quite a day Thursday. He led Greene County at a golf tournament hosted by Saydel at the Woodland Hills Golf Course late in the afternoon, then scored a goal at night as Greene County won 9-0 in soccer over Kuemper (Catholic).

Hansen was fourth overall behind a trio of players who shot 38. North Polk (Alleman) won the event with 154 strokes, followed by South Hamilton (Jewell) 178, Roland-Story (Story City) 179, Greene County 195, and 204 by Saydel.

The other scores counting in Greene County’s total were Crew Conner 47, Parker Fitzpatrick 54, and 55 by Milo Taute.
