Dallas Center – Grimes track and field will be competing in day one of the Drake Relays today, as a pair of athletes will be looking to do well in their scheduled event. Kileigh Lachacz will be competing in the girls shot put, while boys runner Aiden Ramsey will be competing in the boys 3200 meter run.

Lachacz has been one of the best throwers in the entire state this season and is ranked in the state in multiple events. She will also be competing in the discus throw as well.

Ramsey has established himself as one of the best runners in the state in track and field, and will have a very busy weekend himself running in multiple events.

Lachacz will be competing in the shot put at 4:30 pm, while Ramsey will be competing in the 3200 meter run at 6:07 pm.
