If you are looking for a way to give back to a community, you may do so tomorrow in Grand Junction.

The Grand Junction Lions Club is asking for volunteers to help plant over 30 new trees that they received through a Trees Forever grant of $5,000. The new trees are to replace ones that were damaged or old, dying trees in town. 

The group will begin along Main Street at 8am, then go down to the city park and finish up at the old school building site. This is a come and go activity and no need to pre-register, just show up. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own work gloves and wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
