Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers soccer teams are returning to the field tonight in Raccoon River Conference Play, with the Tigers to do battle with the Winterset Huskies in both boys and girls contests. The Tiger boys come into the matchup with a 3-6 record, and the Winterset boys counter with a 2-8 record. The girls of ADM come in with a 5-4 record and Winterset a 4-4 record.
The Tiger boys won the matchup between the two teams last year, and have a 5-3 advantage in the series. Historically these are two very good teams, and both are searching for a much needed win.
On the girls side, ADM has historically had great success over Winterset with a 9-1 advantage since 2011, but the Huskies grabbed the victory last year in districts 5-2. Freshman Jada Grove leads the Tigers in scoring with 10 on the season.
For the Tigers, the boys match will be played at Winterset High School with the first kick time to be at 5:30. The girls will be having their game at ADM High School, with the game to begin at 7 o’clock.
