Those looking for new reading material or other home entertainment can do so later this week in Jefferson.

The Friends of the Jefferson Public Library is hosting its Spring Book Sale Thursday through Saturday. Items that will be for sale include children, teen and adult books in several genres and non-fiction books as well. Additionally, there are DVDs, CDs, jigsaw puzzles and board games. Admission is free and prices of items range from $0.25 to $2. 

The three-day sale takes place in the basement of the library and proceeds from the fundraiser goes toward additional purchases by the Friends for the library to use.
