A grant awarded by Tyson Foods, which has a location in Perry, to the Food Bank of Iowa has assisted thousands of households throughout Iowa and another event to help out will take place tomorrow.

Tyson announced that its recent $45,000 grant to the Food Bank of Iowa has assisted a total of 5,405 households throughout the state and supported 38 mobile food pantries in three communities in Iowa. The final Tyson Foods-sponsored food distribution event will take place from 3-5 p.m. tomorrow at the Dallas County Hospital in Perry.
