The Guthrie County Conservation Board recently announced  they have turned on the water and opened up the facilities but there is one thing to know before going camping.

Guthrie County Conservation Director Brad Halterman says that there will be no available showerhouse at Nations Bridge Park with the new facility being built at the moment. Halterman explains that this might affect the way some people camp. 

“Folks  that are planning on maybe camping in a tent for a few days they will have to make other arrangements if they want to take a shower it just won’t involve you know using a showerhouse.”

Halterman adds there will be areas where motorhome campers can fill up their vehicle with water. He also says that the new showerhouse will be completed late summer.
