The Dallas County Auditor’s Office is in need of poll workers ahead of the June 7th primary election and there is an upcoming orientation session this week to learn more.
With the June 7th primary elections fast approaching there will be a one hour poll worker orientation session at 10 a.m. or 6 p.m. Wednesday April 27th at 902 Court Street in Adel. Those attending can learn more about what election workers do, the equipment they use and ask questions.
Qualifications to serve include being able to work a 14-16 hour day, being a registered voter in Dallas County, comfortable working on a laptop and not being an opposed candidate or closely related to an opposed candidate on the ballot.
