The Greene County high school track & field girls and boys were to have gone to Gilbert today, but the meet has been postponed until this Friday, April 29 with a 4:30 p.m. starting time. If the weather cooperates, the Rams will have some boys to the Woodward-Granger coed meet tomorrow. Thursday, the Rams send the boys to Story City for the Roland-Story Invitational. Jackson Morton runs the 110 meter high hurdles at the Drake Relays Friday at 8:15 a.m. He’ll run the finals at 10:35 a.m. Friday if he makes the top eight. Greene County will have both its 4 x 100 meter relay units in the preliminaries Saturday morning at Drake. The girls begin at 9:15 a.m. and the boys are at 9:45 a.m. with finals races Saturday afternoon.
Greene County girls’ soccer head coach Maribel Hernandez and the soccer girls are looking for their first win and first goal of the season tonight in Logan vs. Logan Magnolia. The Panthers are 2-4 on the season and are beginning a long home stand. The Rams have been at home more than they’ve been on the road so far this season.
