The Panorama Panthers girls and boys track teams headed to Stuart to take part in the West Central Valley Wildcat Relays and came away a couple of good individual finishes on the day.
The Panorama Panthers boys track and field team placed eighth overall out a of a field of eleven teams during the recent Wildcat Relays and had some impressive performances throughout the day including a fifth place finish from Logan Hutchins in the 110m hurdles with a time of 17.39. Also, Hunter Pauley grabbed a second place finish in the long jump with an impressive distance of 20 feet 1 inch and Cooper Andersen was able to throw his way to an eighth place finish in the shot put with a distance of 38 feet 7 inches.
For the Panthers girls they came away from the Wildcat Relays with a third place finish behind 64 team points. Jaidyn Sellers was able to come away with another top finish this time in the 400m dash with a time of 57.42 Leah Fett also earned a sixth place finish in the 400m dash with a time of one minute and twelve seconds. Payton Beckman placed fifth in the 800m with a time of 2:43.60. Zoey Hambleton sprinted to a second place finish in the 100m hurdles with a time of 17.88 and Jazmyn Sellers threw her way to a first place finish in the discus with a distance 100 feet 5 inches. The Panthers girls earned a bevy of top finishes on their way to their third overall team finish.
Next up on the list the Panorama Panthers girls and boys track and field teams will be headed to Audubon on April 26th for the Bob Clark Relays ahead of the start of the track and field portion of the Drake Relays on April 27th.
