Both the boys and girls soccer teams for the West Central Valley Wildcats were able to finish the week off strong. The girls started with a hard fought game on Thursday, where they ended up with a 4-3 loss against the Tri-Center Trojans. Junior Bella Munoz led the way in goals and assists, with one of each, and three shots on goal. Junior goalie Tyra Jackson recorded 23 saves and 4 goals allowed for a save percentage of 85.2%.

On Friday both teams competed against the Creston Panthers. The girls hosted at Nodaway Valley High School. The team hit the ground running, scoring 7 of their 9 points in the first period. Junior Bella Munoz once again led the way in scoring and assists, with 4 goals, 3 assists, and 6 shots on goal. Junior goalie Kyera Howell had 2 saves, for a 100% save rate.

On the boys side, the team traveled to Creston for the game. Which ended up being an incredible show of will between the two teams, as the Wildcats eventually were able to fight their way to a 1-0 victory.
