The Adair and Guthrie County Extension Offices are going to show the youth how to have proper manners with an upcoming workshop.
Adair County Extension Youth Coordinator Valerie Jaehrling says table setting is a new contest to the Adair County Fair and their workshop will help contestants practice. She explains there will be a professional teaching participants about many different things.
“4-H exhibitors will learn about form table settings, casual table settings and part of the contest is also creating a menu that meet Myplate requirements according to the USDA Myplate recommendations.”
The registration deadline is April 26th and the workshop will be on May 1st at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds from 2-3:30pm. For more information about how to register visit the link provided.
