A US Senator that represents Iowa discusses the war that is ongoing in Ukraine.  

Senator Joni Ernst says that Ukraine is a free and sovereign country that exports a large amount of food around the world and she describes what the  President of Russia Vladmir Putin is doing to the Ukrainian people. 

“And they’re indiscriminately targeting civilians. They’re targeting hospitals. They’re targeting schools, you name it, humanitarian corridors. They are targeting. So it angers the American people to see others treated like that inhumanely.”

She believes if the US keeps supplying the Ukrainians with weapons they can defeat the Russians.
