A Boone woman was recently sentenced to probation for a burglary incident in Jefferson.
According to court documents, 39-year-old Julie Eslinger pled guilty to a Class D Felony for third degree burglary. She had a five year prison sentence suspended and was placed on probation for three years.
The charge stemmed from an incident that occured between December 20th and 22nd, 2020 when she unlawfully entered a home in the 900 block of West Harrison Street, without permission.
Eslinger was also ordered to pay victim restitution and had her other charges, including another Class D Felony for third degree burglary and an aggravated misdemeanor for third degree burglary of a motor vehicle were dismissed.
