US Senator visited Guthrie County as a part of her 99 County Tour for 2022 on Tuesday. 

Senator Ernst got a chance to tour the Early Morning Harvest store and the Hafner family aquaponic greenhouse and farm where they produce grain mill, pastured poultry for egg production, garden fresh veggies and much more. Senator Ernst told Raccoon Valley Radio about the experience. 

“But then the aquaponics as well as something that I have not experienced, just to see how the Hafners have set up their operation. It was just another branch of agriculture and horticulture and I was really excited to see it.

She mentioned that farmers willing to step out and try different things in agriculture and horticulture is important and exciting for Iowa.
