The Panorama Panthers girls and boys soccer teams took the field Tuesday night as the season continued with home matches against the Logan-Magnolia Panthers in Panora.

Mother Nature has made it difficult for many of the normal spring activities to take place but the Panorama Panthers girls and boys soccer teams were able to get out and get another match in when they took on the Logan-Magnolia Panthers Tuesday night and came away with good results.

For the Panorama girls they came into Tuesday night’s match with an overall record of 2-0 on the season picking up wins over Harlan and Greene County without giving up a goal in the process. Against the Logan-Magnolia Panthers the Panorama girls were able to get another shut out victory over Logan-Magnolia with a 4-0 win. The Panorama girls were able to improve their record to 3-0 on the season and maintain their excellent goalkeeping.

The Panorama Panthers boys team was able to pick up their first win on the young season with an overtime effort that saw Maddox Hammerstrom score the last goal to give the Panorama boys their first win on the season by a score of 6-5 and evened out their record at 1-1 on the season.

For the Panorama Panthers girls and boys soccer teams their seasons will resume again when they take part in a girl-boy doubleheader against the Van Meter Bulldogs in Van Meter on April 21st. The girls game will begin at 5 p.m. with the boys slated to begin at 7 p.m.
