The Iowa State Extension and Outreach Office is continuing with childcare training and they are coming to a nearby location. 

The next training is “Gardening With Children,” tomorrow from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Guthrie County Extension Office. This training will explore promoting a healthy lifestyle with early learning experiences, social development and environmental guidance. There will be activities that contain crafts, taste testing and gardening. 

The cost is $10 and participants that finish the class will receive two hours of credit for childcare license renewal approved by Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). The next class will be on May 26th that’s called “Safe Food For A Healthy Future.” in Urbandale.  For more information on how to register visit here.
