This week is National Extension Week and Guthrie County will celebrate the week by starting a discussion over a beverage. 

Guthrie County ISU Extension and Outreach Youth Coordinator Mollie Clark says they will be visiting local coffee that include The Cup on 2nd in Stuart tomorrow at 7:30am, Crafty’s Coffee in Panora on Wednesday at 7:30am and Casey Creamery on Thursday at 7:30am. Clark tells Raccoon Valley Radio the mission of these visits will be. 

“So we’ll be on the road and we will be buying coffees for the first 30 people that day while we’re there and talking to them and seeing if there’s any programs they’d like to see or different activities they’d like to have us offer that sort of thing.”

Extension week is from April 18th through the 22nd.
