Monday, April 18th
12:53am: Kyle Cuddy reported seeing a flashlight in his garage at 504 South Olive Street. The officer checked the garage, but did not find anything out of the ordinary.
12:21pm: Carter Fetters reported Criminal Mischief to his vehicle while parked at 307 East State Street. A large rock had been thrown through the window on a 1996 Ford Ranger. Fetters provided the officer with a possible suspect in the matter. The officer is investigating.
3:18pm: Rene Schaffer reported an Abandoned Bicycle in her yard at 606 North Locust. The officer placed the bike in the Impound Lot.
3:22pm: Tom Patrick reported a Stray Dog near 207 South Cedar Street. The officer caught the stray and placed it in the Animal Holding Facility.
4:21pm: The Audubon PD requested any information from Jefferson Officers concerning any missing tomb stones in town. They had located one in their city and wanted to find where it originated from. Officers checked Jefferson Cemeteries, but did not see anything suspicious.
7:22pm: A Traffic Stop at Grimmell and Central resulted in Dalton Weber of Scranton being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
7:23pm: A caller spoke with an officer about a possible Scam on Amazon. The officer advised the caller to contact his bank about the issue.
7:24pm: A Traffic Stop in the 500 Block of East Lincoln Way Street resulted in Amalia Easton of Ankeny being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
