Friday, April 15th

12:16am: A caller advised of a vehicle with its Hazard Lights activated near 220th and Elm Streets. The vehicle was not located in the area by the officer.

1:19 hrs, Ana Coronado reported screaming coming from an apartment at 107 North Grimmell Road. The officer spoke to a subject and learned she was having an argument with a subject on the phone. He advised her to quiet down, due to the time of day.

4:19am: An officer located an Open Door at 509 East Gallop Road and secured the business.

8:07am: Jennie Olson reported two Stray Dogs running near Monroe and Chestnut Streets. The owner arrived and took control of the animals.

12:16pm: Pat Griffin reported a Careless Driver south of Jefferson on Hwy. 4, heading towards Jefferson. The officer located the vehicle and spoke to the driver about the complaint.

1:27pm: Oly’s Corner reported a possible Intoxicated Subject at 208 West Lincoln Way Street. The subject had left before the officer’s arrival.

2:42pm: An officer began an investigation into a possible Assault and Criminal Mischief to a vehicle, which had occurred at 1901 North Grimmell Road.

10:43pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 106 West Washington Street. All was fine at the location.

11:05pm: Joyce Richardson spoke with an officer in connection to Unwanted Text Messages.

Saturday, April 16th

10:11am: The Greene County Medical Center reported to an officer that a patient there did not wish for any further visits from two family members. They advised if the subjects returned and were causing issues, they would contact police.

5:50pm: Beth Dowd reported her vehicle was missing from 517 North Olive Street. The officer learned a family member had taken the vehicle to the store.

8:19pm: An officer spotted a driver in the parking lot at 777 Wild Rose Lane, he knew to be a Barred Driver. The officer spoke to the subject and the officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Mitchell Kenneth Venteicher, 37 of Jefferson for, “Driving While Barred – Aggravated.”

Sunday, April 17th

8:20pm: An officer arrested a wanted subject from 777 Wild Rose Lane. Conar Allen Hornsby, 25 of Grand Junction had an outstanding Probation Violation Arrest Warrant through Greene County. A search of Hornsby’s person located a marijuana smoking device. The officer also charged Hornsby with, “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple.”

9:23pm: An officer responded to a Car vs Deer Accident at Elm and Russell Streets. Th2014 Ford Explorer was owned and operated by Samantha Lehnhoff of Jefferson. The vehicle received a reported $2000.00 in damages.
