A reminder that today there are several Easter egg hunts in Greene County.
The Churdan Library is hosting one at 10am for kids fourth grade and younger. The egg hunt will take place at the city park and basketball court. Then the children will head back to the library for Easter treasurers.
Then at 1pm there will be two egg hunts. One of them will be sponsored by Grand Junction Fire and Rescue at the former school site. Kids from 1-9 years old are invited, with three different age groups, all with drawings for chocolates and a grand prize drawing of a large stuffed animal. The other Easter egg hunt is with Abundant Life Ministries in Jefferson. About 1,000 eggs will be scattered across six acres north of the church. Kids from newborn to ten years old are encouraged to attend.
The final egg hunt will be at the Rippey Public Library at 2pm. The event is sponsored by the Friends of Rippey.
All Easter egg hunts are free.
