
The Dallas County Foundation recently announced the list of those who will be receiving grant funding in 2022.
The Foundation recently announced that they awarded $101,323 in their own funds and $53,709 in Grow Greene County funds, for a total of $155,032, to 24 projects throughout Dallas County.
Some of the projects include $2,000 to the Adel Historic Preservation Commission for their website, $2,000 for the Minburn Area Fire Fighters Association for ventilation equipment, $7,000 for the Dallas County Hospital Foundation for an additional bladder scanner at the Dallas County Hospital and $10,000 to the Dallas County Fair Association for a concrete pad for 4H and FFA animal stalls.
With the Grow Greene County funds of $53,709, they are headed to the Raccoon River Valley Trail to High Trestle Trail connector project, AHeinz57 Pet Rescue and Transport, Granger Public Library, Woodward Friends and Neighbors Day and the Woodward-Granger Community School District Foundation.
The Dallas County Foundation will consider grants that improve the lives of Dallas County residents with an emphasis on health and human services, arts and culture, youth development, education, recreation, environment and community betterment.
Applicants must be a 501(c) 3, 5 or 6 organization or 107(b) unit of government or they can be affiliated with another organization with one of these designations.
