Dallas Center – Grimes girls track and field will be looking to continue on what has been a really good season so far, and will be trying to build on it this afternoon.

This Mustang team will be taking on a whole host of schools around the Des Moines metro and Central Iowa as well, as they’ve found great results from relay teams and individual athletes as well.

DCG was able to finish 2nd at Norwalk on Monday, just narrowly missing out on the team points win. The Mustang girls were able to create multiple first place finishes in their event.

Kaleigh Lachacz have been terrific in the shotput and discus so far this season, and will be looking to continue to build on her strong start.

Field events will begin at 4 pm, and running event will begin at 4:15 pm, as the Mustang girls hope to put up some really good numbers.
