The city of Stuart will celebrate Easter this weekend.
Stuart Chamber of Commerce Director Brenda Dudley says that the annual Easter Egg Hunt is coming back to Stuart, the first time since 2019 due to the pandemic. Dudley says this event will be sponsored and put on by Rose Acres.
“Rose Acres is a huge part of the Easter egg hunt. They dye over a thousand eggs and they hide them in the park. There’s four different age groups, four and under, ages 5 to 7, and then a group 8 to 10. The top three from each division, boys and girls, get very nice prizes that Rose Akers buys.”
The Easter Egg Hunt is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and the Community Care Center. The free event will start at noon with the Easter Bunny taking pictures with families and then the hunt will begin at 1pm at the Lawbaugh Park.
