For those who are looking to get some local goods, there will be another opportunity to do so with a local market this weekend in Perry.
The spring market season is still ongoing with the Perry Chamber of Commerce and there will be another offering this weekend running from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Perry Public Library Community Room. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti talks about this month’s spring farmer’s market.
“A lot of baked goods and crafts as well. It’s the third Saturday of the month already in April so the 16th. We will have one more of those or the spring before we get ready for our our actual summer season starting up in June.
The indoor markets are limited to roughly four to eight vendors per market but goods range from jams and jellies to baked goods and handcrafted items as well. Also, all alternative currency programs without an expiration date are accepted.
There is one remaining spring market offering that will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 21st. For more information on the market you can go here.
