An upcoming event in Dallas County will provide an opportunity for people to volunteer to remove an invasive species.
The Dallas County Conservation Board is offering an opportunity from 9 a.m. to noon April 23rd for people to come out to Voas Nature Area in Minburn and participate in an easy volunteer opportunity. Outreach Coordinator Sarah Gilchrist says volunteers will gather to remove the invasive species of garlic mustard.
There is no registration required to attend the free event and everyone is welcome to attend and children are welcomed and encouraged.
