Last year the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District opened the doors to its brand new elementary building, and it’s been successful in its first year.
The ADM School District officially opened the doors of the brand new Meadow View Elementary building ahead of the start of the 2021-2022 school year. As the 2021-22 school year draws near its close Superintendent Greg Dufoe talks about the success of the new building so far.
“It’s such a functional building for our students in grades two, three and four. It’s been better than I could even have anticipated. It’s a wonderful building, it’s serving its purpose very, very well and it will for years and years and years to come. It’s been a highlight of this year for sure.”
Dufoe tells Raccoon Valley Radio it feels as though the building has been open for a long time rather than just the short few months of the current school year. The new building was deemed necessary after recent growth that occurred within the district.
The Meadow View Elementary building serves approximately 500 students from second through fourth grades.
