ADM Tigers boys and girls golf teams were on the course on Monday, the boys making their season opener and the girls adding another event to their season. Both teams were both able to find first place finishes on the day, with the boys shooting an 11 over score to win by 11, the team score being 155. The girls were also first at Winterset winning with a team score of 201.

The boys took on Winterset and Carlisle in Adel, they took advantage of the home course as Sam Hlas was able to grab medalist honors with the best score of the day with a +1 37. Easton Korell was one stroke behind him at 38, Grant Hickey fired a 40, and Grant Jansen a 40 as well to round out the Tigers scoring. Those four were able to take the top 6 places in the event.

The girls were able to use some good place throughout, as Emma Mellencamp was able to finish as a runner up medalist with a score of 47. The Tigers were able to get good scores throughout, which helped them take first place in a good event involving Raccoon River Conference schools.

For both of the Tiger teams, they will be back on the course on Thursday afternoon when they participate at Woodward – Granger.
