The First Annual St. Patrick’s School Gala will be taking place tomorrow in Perry for people to get out and have a good time. 

The First Annual St. Pat’s Gala will begin tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium and will feature plenty of activities including food and raffles along with live and silent auction items. Principal Kandice Patillo says the coronavirus pandemic impacted being able to hold the event, which has been rebranded from the church and school auction. 

“It feels awesome. The last one we had was in April of 2019 and we had one planned for April 0f 2020 but when the world shut down in March of that year the auction never came to be. We kept pushing it back and pushing it back and everytime we did it just wasn’t happening.”

Patillo tells Raccoon Valley Radio for those who may not have their tickets ahead of time you can still purchase them at the door of the event as well. Patillo encourages people in the community to come out and have fun. 

“It’s a fun night of community building with your friends. You could bid on a wine and cheese party at that and then go have community building beyond it as well.”
