Guthrie County had several schools travel to Ogden to perform in the 2A State Solo And Small Group Music Contest over the weekend of April 2nd. 

Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center High School had multiple categories; they earned a division one rating that includes choirs that include brass, woodwind, saxophone along with percussion ensemble, Sofia Brown in flute solo and Tommy Bates in euphonium solo. AC/GC added seven division two ratings in a variety of categories. Panorama High School received a division two rating for a tuba solo performed by Austin Wetzel also West Central Valley High School earned a division two rating for a tuba solo and vocal solo.
