A Stuart business is asking residents to join them in making a colorful symbol. 

The Stuart Flowers And Gifts is wanting to build a living cross with the help of the community. The living cross is a tall wooden cross covered in chicken wire that will be filled with floral stems. Stuart Flowers and Gifts is encouraging shoppers to visit them on April 14th from 9am-6pm and bring fresh-cut flowers, preferably with a long stem, to place in the cross. The flower shop will provide anyone with a stem that does not have one. The plan is for Stuart Flowers and Gifts to complete the six feet by four feet wide cross by the end of the day.
