A Greene County community is hosting a free gathering event tomorrow night.

The Friends of Rippey invites all residents and surrounding communities to a Free Fellowship Meal at 6pm at the Community Room. The non-profit organization will be serving pulled pork sandwiches, with the meat donated by Tyson Meats, along with cheesy potatoes, baked beans, coffee, lemonade, iced tea and water. The goal of this free event is for everyone that attends to get to know each other and learn about upcoming community activities. 

Additionally, various organizations have been invited to have a small display and handouts about their groups, including the Rippey Library Board of Trustees, the Rippey Baseball Commission, Rippey Lion’s Club, Washington Winners 4-H Club and the Rippey Yoga group. No pre-registration is necessary.
