The Greene County Medical Center recently announced a new board of trustee member.
Jefferson resident Doug Carman joined the board, following David Hoyt’s retirement from the board of trustees after 15 years of service. Carman retired from Peoples Bank in Scranton after 36 years of service. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity. He has a bachelor’s degree in agriculture business from Northwest Missouri State University. Carman brings a skill set in agriculture, finance and business to the board and he is excited to continue to give back to the community because he sees the medical center as an essential component to the county and the region that it serves.
The medical center commends Hoyt for his service as a trustee.
