The West Central Valley girls track & field team had a good showing Monday night, as they participated in a meet hosted by Nodaway Valley. The team had 3 first place finishes, 3 second place finishes, and 3 third place finishes, for 72 of their 79 total points.

Tasha Williams had a first place finish in the 100m Dash, and a second place finish in the 200m dash. Zoey Dickson added a third place finish in the 400m dash, while Chasey Rowan placed second in both the 1500m and 3000m runs.

Zalina Morse brought in a first place finish in the high jump, while Kinsey Alt contributed her own first place finish in the long jump.

Finally, the 4X200m relay and 4X800m relay teams both finished third in their respective events to finish out the events with a top 3 placement.

The girls will return to the track tonight as they head to Truro for the Interstate 35 HS Girls Track & Field Invite.
