Dallas Center – Grimes boys and girls soccer were both on the field on Tuesday evening against Oskaloosa in Little Hawkeye Conference action, with both teams coming away with a victory. The boys by a score of 6-1 and the girls by a score of 10-0 Both teams stay undefeated, with the girls at 4-0 and the boys at 2-0.
The boys were able to use a five goal first half to pull away from the Indians, as the Mustangs used their offensive attack to their advantage. The Mustangs have outscored opponents in their first two games by a mark of 16 goals to 1.
The Mustang girls were able to work very quickly throughout the night, as they were able to attack early and often in scoring the easy victory. DCG was able to put up seven goals in the first half on the way to their second consecutive ten goal win over the Indians.
The boys will have their next game tomorrow at home when they take on Winterset, the girls will be playing in another tournament on Saturday when they participate in a tournament at Council Bluffs – Thomas Jefferson.
