The season continues for the Panorama Panthers girls and boys track and field teams today when they host their first meet of the year in Panora.

The Panorama Panthers girls and boys track and field teams will get to run on familiar ground today when they take part in a meet beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Panorama High School for their first host meet of the season as they will look to continue their season.

During the first week of official action for both teams saw Mother Nature causing issues as their regularly scheduled early bird meet at Ogden was canceled due to bad weather that saw their first opportunity at a scoring meet wiped off the schedule. For early spring the hopes are the weather can provide good conditions for the runners and field events today.

While one of the meets this year was canceled due to weather the athletes did get some experience in their first meet which was the Earlham Early Bird meet where runners and field event athletes had some good times and distances on the day which they will look to use as building blocks as the season wears on.

For the girls coach Greg Thompson and the boys coach Bruce Dahlhauser today is another opportunity for their athletes as they participate in their first home meet of the season which will begin at 4:30 p.m. today in Panora.
