Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers boys and girls soccer teams competed on Monday against the Perry Bluejays and the Jayettes, the girls picking up their first win of the season 4-0 while the boys picked up their first defeat of the season losing 2-1.

The girls were able to move to 1-2 on the season while the boys moved down to 1-1.

The girls were able to keep their undefeated streak against Perry since 2011, winning 12 straight in the process. The Tigers were able to put 3 in the back of the net in the first half, never looking back. Defensively, the Tigers were able to show good progress compared to the first couple of games which helped with the wins.

The Tiger boys struggled to find momentum throughout the evening in the loss, as Perry was able to take advantage of the opportunities given to them to pick up the victory.

For both of the ADM teams, they return to the field later on this week as they continue to navigate a tough early schedule to start the season.
